Please join us for this invigorating and timely conversation about how we can build equity together, meaningfully connecting our academic institutions to the industry to ensure that the passionate and dedcated efforts on both sides can fuel positive, sustainable change.
We will use Despina Stratigakos’ 2017 book “Where are the Women Architects?” as a foundation for this conversation. The slim volume addresses the legacy of white male dominance of the profession head on and amplifies the voices of those working to bring us into a more equitable future. Though Stratigakos does not shy away from the challenges we still face, the book ultimately leaves us with hope that change is possible, is necessary, and is happening.
