THANK YOU FOR BEING PART OF FORUM 2006.
See pictures here from some of the official events.
Almost 1,100 students and professional participated this year. It was an amazing experience and a terrific educational event. We are thankful for the support of the host chapters, sponsors and the local architecture and educational community in Boston for being great hosts.
Forum 2006: Transitions was the culmination of the 50th Anniversary of the AIAS. The conference reflected back on transitions made in the last fifty years in architecture and design and also explored the changes needed to improve the quality of architecture and design. Issues of sustainability, urban development, technology, and design for all will be discussed through a variety of seminars, tours and keynote presentations.
The annual FORUM is a venue for discussion of new ideas. The convention programming provides students with the opportunity to learn about issues facing architectural education and the profession, to meet your peers and professionals with common interests, and to interact with leading architects, designers and thought provocateurs.

FORUM was hosted this year by the AIAS Chapter at the Wentworth Institute of Technology.
Additional support was provided by the AIAS chapters at the Boston Architectural College and Northeastern University. |
