AIAS Forum 2006 / Boston, MA / 29 December 2006 - 1 January 2007

HOST CHAPTER

FORUM is being hosted by the AIAS chapter at Wentworth Institute of Technology. WIT’s five-year B. Arch. degree is the only daytime undergraduate professional architecture degree program in Massachusetts to be nationally accredited by the National Architectural Accrediting Board.

The Architecture Department's programs take advantage of the urban context and cultural resources of the City of Boston and the New England region. Professionally active faculty who are diversified by experiences, scholarship interests and gender, and student cooperative work experiences provide direct insight on local architectural practice. Interdisciplinary coursework within the Institute and the Colleges of the Fenway, and study abroad opportunities offer additional range and focus in study programs.

Founded in 1904, Wentworth Institute of Technology is an independent, co-educational, nationally-ranked institution offering career-focused education through 14 bachelor's degree programs in areas such as architecture, computer science, design, engineering, engineering technology and management of technology.

Wentworth offers one of the largest and most comprehensive cooperative education programs of its kind in the nation. This program, which has been active for over 30 years, provides Wentworth graduates the ability to gain the professional work experience needed to succeed in their field.
