Beaux Arts Ball on New Year's Eve
Wednesday, December 31 | 9:30 PM – 1:00 AM
Ticket included with full registration | Additional tickets for $50 each

One of the highlights of FORUM is the annual Beaux Arts Ball. Each fully-paid registrant will receive one ticket to the event (additional tickets may be purchased when you register and at the onsite registration desk). Theme-related costumes are highly encouraged!

Location: Donald R. Seawell Grand Ballroom at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts
The large ballroom has fabulous Rocky Mountain and Denver city views. This beautiful facility features an undulating-wave form ceiling with a thousand fiber-optic lights and a state-of-the-art sound, video and projection system.

Theme: The Recycled Ball
Do you have any extra used aluminum foil or grocery shopping bags? Now is the time to put them to use! In keeping with the theme of FORUM 2008, attendees are encouraged to wear costumes made of used clothing or other recyclable/recycled objects and materials. The music will be recycled, too.

Council of Presidents Business Sessions
Tuesday, December 30 | 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Thursday, January 1 | 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Each evening keynote event is also considered a General Business Session.

The Council of Presidents (COP) is a governing body comprised of one representative (usually the president) from each chapter. The COP serves as the collective voice of the student membership. This body is responsible for establishing and monitoring the organization’s direction, as well as making policy statements. The COP meets twice yearly in General Business Sessions (GBS) at the Grassroots Leadership Conference and at FORUM. The COP is also responsible for selecting the upcoming FORUM site and electing six of the members of the Board of Directors: the President, Vice President, and four Quad Directors. Official delegates must be present at each General Business Session in order to qualify for the delegate registration reimbursement. Roll call is taken at the beginning of each GBS.

Council of Presidents Reception
Tuesday, December 30 | 9:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Included with registration for COP Members/Delegates

This invitation-only event is a tribute to the dedication of our chapter leaders. Thanks for everything you do to make the AIAS so successful. Tickets will be distributed onsite when registration materials are distributed. One additional ticket ($3) may be purchased at the registration desk for an accompanying significant other.
