Northeast or "Nordeast" is a new and upcoming area for young professionals. It’s a bit less expensive than the trendy Uptown and property values have steadily been on the rise. Many of the businesses in the area could be described as "neighborhood" places, but can be quite fun and are occasionally a welcome change to busier downtown crowds. Northeast Minneapolis is also a great area to go for ethnic dining and a different city experience.
