FLYING TO MINNESOTA
The Twin Cities are served by theMinneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (code: MSP).
The AIAS has arranged discounted travel with AirTran. To take advantage of this special program, contact the AirTran Airways EventSavers Desk at 1-866-68EVENT (1-866-683-8368) for reservations. All patrons will need to have the listed Event Code and must provide the name of the Event upon booking. Please provide the Event Savers Coordinator with Event Code: MSP122809 (AIAS FORUM CONVENTION). Features of this program include:
- A 10% discount on the lowest available AirTran Airways one-way fare
- No minimum stay length or Saturday night requirement
- Advance seat assignments at time of booking
- Attendees may travel three (3) days prior to the event start date and three (3) days after the event close date if they wish to spend any additional time at the event location
- A one time waiver of Change Fee per reservation for any name or itinerary change, but any applicable fare increase will apply

GROUND TRANSPORTATION
Upon your arrival at MSP, there are numerous ways to travel to/from the Hyatt Regency Hotel.
Light Rail
Light Rail Transit (LRT) trains stop at both the Lindbergh and Humphrey Terminals and connect travelers to 15 other destinations, including downtown Minneapolis to the north and the Mall of America to the south. The closest station to the hotel isthe Nicollet Mall Station.
Trains run every 7 or 8 minutes during peak hours and every 10 to 15 minutes at other times of the day. From the airport, trains can take you to the Mall of America in about 11 minutes and to the Warehouse District in downtown Minneapolis in about 25 minutes. If you have a layover and plan to take the train away from the airport, please allow time to travel and return.
Light rail faresfor adults are $2.25 during rush hours (Monday through Friday, 6 to 9 am and 3 to 6:30 pm) and $1.75 at other times. Tickets are sold at vending kiosks at the rail stations. Reduced fares are available for seniors, children and persons with disabilities. For more information, visit the Metro Transit website, www.metrotransit.org/rail. No ticket is needed to travel between the Lindbergh and Humphrey Terminal stations.
SuperShuttle
SuperShuttle is offering convention attendees a discounted rate of $15/one-way or $26/round-trip when using discount code SNNN4. You may make a reservation in advance or you may purchase a ticket at the airport (be sure to have code SNNN4).
Advance On-line Reservations
On-line reservations can be made in advance for ground transportation to or from Minneapolis-St. Paul
International Airport. All on-line reservations will need to be guaranteed by a credit card. Web site instructions:
- Welcome: Make your reservation choice. (To Airport, From Airport, or Round-Trip).
- Flight info: Have your airline, flight number, and times available.
- Enter Hotel or Landmark (i.e., Hyatt Regency Minneapolis).
- Choose shared-ride or exclusive-van service. Shared ride service makes stops at other hotels. Exclusive van service is private van service meant for groups up to ten guests.
- Select pick-up time.
- Select payment type (must be done on credit card).
- Review and confirm.

Taxi
Downtown Minneapolis is approximately 16 miles from the airport, with fares averaging $34-$44 plus gratuity. All taxi fares are metered at a rate of up to $2.35 per mile and include a $3.00 trip fee that is added to the final metered fare.
