November 2023 Chapter Leader of the Month: Milena Carvalho

SENAI CIMATEC

My name is Milena Carvalho, I’m 23 years old and I’m the current president of the AIAS SENAI CIMATEC chapter, located in the city of Salvador, Brazil, South America. I’m in my 4th year of graduation, about to graduate. I’m so grateful for everything I have learned from being a member of AIAS, and I’m so happy for all of our accomplishments as such a new chapter.

In 2022, five other colleagues and I decided to start our activities, and now we have approximately 30 members. Our first activity was our Podcast called “ArqTec Podcast” available on Spotify, we always are doing workshops, competitions, projects, and also bigger events like our “Architecture Week” open to the public. After another year on this team I couldn’t be more grateful and happy for all.
