Winners Announced First Week in January

The American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS) and Vinyl Institute will be announcing the winners of the Bohemian Boathouse Design Competition at the AIAS Annual meeting, FORUM on December 30, 2009. Following the public announcement, the winning designs will also be viewable on the competition Web site starting the first week in January.

Competition Web site Launched

The AIAS and the Vinyl Institute are proud to announce the launch of the newly design Competition Web site at www.aias.org/vinyl. The new site includes modern annimations, graphics and a more visual experience.

2009 Student Design Competition

The AIAS and the VInyl Institute are excited to announce that the 2009 student design competition will focus on a boathouse design for the Bohemian Flats Park in Minnesota, MN. Utilizing Vinyl products, students are asked to design a boathouse that will allow for visitors of the park to enjoy:

  1. Refreshments in a new cafe
  2. A pier with pedal boats
  3. A relaxing view of the new I-35W Bridge
  4. A small display about the history of the site
  5. The natural beauty of the Mississippi River

2008 Competition Winners Announced
