Max Skoglund is a senior at the University of Maryland College Park, majoring in Culture and Environment and minoring in Sustainability as well as Innovation and Entrepreneurship. He serves as the communications chair for a newly started consortium of sustainability-oriented groups at the University called the Sustainability Cooperative (SCoop). He represented SCoop as the co-chair for the Freedom By Design Live Task Force and helped organize the team and demonstrations as well as lead the design charettes for the day. Max has a particular interest in cultivating a culture of cooperation in businesses and building environmental education and awareness into the shaping of a sustainable society.
