Each month, the AIAS highlights the outstanding dedication and accomplishments of one of its members. The Chapter Leader of the Month can be a Chapter President or any member who has shown tremendous leadership.

Faith A. Fullerton is a senior at the University of Washington pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Design with a minor in Environmental Studies. Prior to her election as President of UW AIAS, Faith served diligently within the chapter for two years. She led drawing, software, and portfolio workshops for the AIAS Mentorship Program, showcasing an unwavering commitment to the success of fellow aspiring architects. Also playing a vital role in the marketing, fundraising, and additional planning for the 2023 Beaux Arts Ball, Faith contributed remarkably to the event’s unprecedented achievement of over 200 attendees.

Under Faith’s leadership as the UW AIAS President, the chapter revitalized general meetings and now engages over 175 architecture students through the AIAS Mentorship Program. Faith also serves as a Co-Chair for the 2024 West Quad Conference, BLOOM: Emerging Solutions for Urban Sustainability. This conference team has already achieved unprecedented fundraising goals and expects to welcome around 250 students to Seattle from April 4-7th, 2024. In January, Faith also accepted the AIA Seattle Allied Organization Award on behalf of UW AIAS, and alongside UW NOMAS, at the AIA Seattle Parti Awards ceremony.
