Chapter Dues are one of the main responsibilities of an AIAS Chapter, consisting of an annual payment from the chapter as a whole.

Chapter Dues primarily fund the organization’s insurance policy. This policy provides risk mitigation to each individual chapter, including events that they hold locally, as long as there is no alcohol involved. Should you need information on the insurance policy or need to request a Certificate of Insurance for a local event, please contact the national office at mailbox@aias.org or 202-808-0075.

Chapter dues are:

  • $275 for 4+ year programs (universities/colleges)
  • $140 for 2 year programs (most community colleges)

Your Chapter Dues are waived if your school decides to become a Collegiate Associate. Learn more about our Collegiate Associates Program Here.

Additionally, chapter dues must be paid for your chapter to be considered in Good Standing. You can learn more about what this by going to our Good Standing page.

*Please note that international chapters and high school chapters are not required to pay chapter dues.
