The AIAS is proud to announce the 2023-2024 Committees and Task Forces! These groups are vital parts of our organization, and work each year to fulfill charges and deliverables established by the National Office and Board of Directors, while providing valuable resources to our members. Major focuses of this year’s committees are the 2024-2027 Strategic Plan, member surveys and data collection, and new efforts in advocacy. We are very excited to see what they accomplish this year!
Building on some changes made last year, all committees will be paired with a member of the AIAS staff to ensure that committees are in frequent communication with the National Office. Additionally, President Brock recognizes that many of our members join after the committee application deadline, and so the Leadership Interest Application will open later in the year and based on the capacity of our committees applications will be accepted throughout the year. If you want to be on a committee but haven’t applied yet, fear not! The application will reopen soon – stay tuned for more information.
The 2023-2024 Committee rosters and general charges can be found below. Take a look at the 2023-2024 AIAS Committee and Task Force Informational Packet for a more in-depth look at the Committee and Task Force charges, relevance, and deliverables.
