Each month, the AIAS highlights the outstanding dedication and accomplishments of one of its members. The Chapter Leader of the Month can be a Chapter President or any member who has shown tremendous leadership.

The AIAS is proud to recognize Vinamr “Vinny” Gulati from Boston Architectural College as our October Chapter Leader of the Month, celebrating his commitment to student growth, collaboration, and building a stronger architecture community.

A fourth-year Bachelor of Architecture student and President of his AIAS chapter, Vinamr approaches leadership with a focus on creating meaningful opportunities for his fellow students. He believes that every decision made by chapter leadership should contribute to the academic and professional development of its members.

Through his role as Chapter President, Vinamr emphasizes collaboration, connection, and learning beyond the classroom. His approach reflects a commitment to ensuring that AIAS serves as a space where students can support one another, expand their perspectives, and develop the skills and relationships that will shape their futures in architecture.

As Vinamr shares:

“In leading my board, I work to ensure that every decision we make contributes to the professional and academic growth of our student body. I value collaboration and strive to create opportunities that help our students connect, learn, and grow beyond the classroom.”

Vinamr’s leadership highlights the importance of creating a supportive and engaged student community. Through his dedication to his chapter and fellow students, he demonstrates how thoughtful leadership can make a lasting impact on the architecture school experience.
