The American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS) is saddened by the passing of Robert “Bob” Klancher. Klancher, 57, served as the 1982-1983 AIAS President. He had been battling cancer for two years.

Klancher graduated from the University of Cincinnati’s School of Architecture and Interior Design. He worked as Principal at Interplan and also served as the Loudoun County Planning Commission Vice Chair.

In lieu of flowers, Klancher’s colleagues have wished him to be remembered with a contribution to the AIAS.
