1. How do I download GoToWebinar?
If you have not joined a webinar via GoToWebinar before you will need to download the software prior to the conference. Please find the links to download for both Mac and PC.
Please note that GoToMeeting and GoToWebinar are the same software and the name may change depending on your computer.
2. I got an error message when trying to download the software.
If the software installation was stalled or unsuccessful, the most likely culprit is a firewall or browser issue. Whether you’re trying to get into the session immediately or you’re trying to prepare for a future session, we’ve got multiple options laid out for you.

3. Where can I find my links to register?
If you have not already registered for AIAS Grassroots, please do so by referring to an email sent to you titled Know Before You Go: AIAS Grassroots 2020 Edition from the AIAS National Office. If you are unable to find that email, please reference our conference program here. You will find the links to register for Part I & II of each day on the pages that outline the schedule.
4. How do I login into today’s sessions?
Once you have registered, you should’ve received individual links for Part I & II of each day from GoToWebinar after registering. Please refer to those links in order to login to today’s sessions. If you cannot find those links in your email, please let us know and we will resend them.
5. What if I did not get my link?
If you did not get the link for a particular session, please let us know specifically which ones you are missing in an email to mailbox@aias.org and we will go ahead and resend them.
6. Where can I find the schedule?
The schedule for each day can be found on both the website and in our AIAS Grassroots 2020 conference program including in the Know Before You Go: AIAS Grassroots 2020 Edition.
7. I can’t find my links for the sessions. Can you resend them?
Please let us know exactly what links you are missing and we will be sure to resend them to your email address.
8. I registered on www.aias.org. How do I access the sessions?
If you have not already registered for AIAS Grassroots, please do so by referring to an email sent to you titled Know Before You Go: AIAS Grassroots 2020 Edition from the AIAS National Office sent on Friday, July 31st. If you are unable to find that email, please reference our conference program here. You will find the links to register for Part I & II of each day on the pages that outline the schedule.
9. My link says that the webinar hasn’t started yet. What do I do?
First, make sure you are signed into the correct link for the appropriate day and part. If that is not the problem, we encourage you to close the program and reopen and then copy and paste the link in a new browser window rather than clicking the link through your email.
10. Will I be able to use my camera or microphone during the webinar?
As a registrant, you will not be able to unmute your microphone during the conference with the exception of our after hours sessions which include Emerging Young Leaders: Networking and Mentorship, Committee and Board Q&A, and Freedom by Design Charette.
During the conference sessions, we encourage you to engage by asking questions in the chat function, raising your hand, and participating in polls when applicable.
