Washington, DC – April 3, 2017 – The American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS) is excited to partner with PPI (Professional Publications, Inc.), a publisher of professional licensing exam materials since 1975, for a new digital career feature. The feature, ‘I Want to Work In’, highlights recent graduates who are living and working in towns and cities around the world. AIAS alumni will provide an inside look at their personal and professional lives while balancing studying for the Architect Registration Exam (ARE). The series will launch on the AIAS website (www.aias.org) and social media channels in the fall of 2017.
The AIAS has also teamed up with PPI to provide a sneak peek of the future during Architecture Week 2017–held April 9-15, 2017–in which snippets and teasers of the ‘I Want to Work In’ feature will air. During this week, students can submit their preferred cities for feature consideration and PPI has put together a sweepstakes that includes an ARE 5 Review Manual, a PPI water bottle, and a Lego® New York City Architecture set.
