Update: The deadline has been extended to December 11, 2016 by 11:59 pm ET.

The AIAS and Fairway Market have partnered together to launch a fall “Archsgiving” competition. Just as the AIAS is like no other organization, Fairway Market is “like no other market”. We both work hard to innovate and be thought-leaders in our respective industries. Therefore, we’ve decided to come together during the holiday season to blend our respective industries into one great competition, “Archsgiving”.

Who: Anyone is eligible to enter. The cost of entry is free to AIAS members and $30 for non-members. Non-members will receive an invoice after a submission is received.

What: Through hand-sketches, 3D modeling, or other medium, render a retail window display concept that uses actual food products to mimic an architectural masterpiece. The window display dimensions depicted should be no larger than 6’ tall by 6’ wide when drawn to scale. Combine architecture with food and win. Be creative and have fun with the design! Bonus points go to those who utilize Thanksgiving-related foods.

When: The deadline for submissions is 11:59 pm on Monday, November 14th 21 (the deadline has been extended!). Competition entries should be no more than two pages at 11×17 inches and submitted as a pdf not greater than 10 MB. Submissions should be sent to competitions@aias.org with the subject line “Archsgiving Competition Entry”.

Awards: The competition winners will be announced in December and featured at AIAS FORUM. The top three winners will receive direct cash awards as follows:

3rd Place: $500
2nd Place: $1,000
1st Place: $1,500

“Archsgiving” . . . like no other competition.
