The American Institute of Architecture Students is proud to welcome Sara Taketatsu as the new 2019-2020 West Quadrant Director! Director Taketatsu was nominated and voted on by the Board of Directors (in accordance with the Bylaws) in early October shortly after the regretful resignation of Past-West Quadrant Director, Wyatt Swingle.
Past-West Quadrant Director Swingle stepped down from his position due to personal reasons, and respectfully declined to discuss it publicly. The Board will truly miss him and wishes him the best in his future endeavors.
The Board sincerely thanks Director Taketatsu for her ongoing service to the AIAS throughout her time as a member, and looks forward to working with her this year. Any questions regarding her appointment can be directed to the Chairperson of the Board, President Curry, at president@aias.org.
