The AIAS is proud to announce the 2022-2023 Committees and Task Forces! These groups are vital parts of our organization, and work each year to fulfill charges and deliverables established by the National President, while providing valuable resources to our members. Major focuses of this year’s committees are improvements to the governance of the AIAS, member surveys and data collection, innovations in AIAS programming, and new efforts in advocacy. We are very excited to see what they accomplish this year!
There are a few changes to committees this year. Committees will be paired with a member of the AIAS staff to ensure that committees are in frequent communication with the National Office. Additionally, President Moore recognizes that many of our members join after the committee application deadline, and so the Leadership Interest Application will remain open throughout the year and applications will be accepted on a rolling basis. If you want to be on a committee but haven’t applied yet, fear not! The application will reopen soon – stay tuned for more information.
The 2022-2023 Committee rosters and general charges can be found below. Take a look at the 2022-2023 AIAS Committee and Task Force Informational Packet for a more in-depth look at the Committee and Task Force charges, relevance, and deliverables.
