It’s time to bid for the 2024 Quad Conferences!
Each year, regional conferences take place in the Midwest, Northeast, South, and West Quads. These gatherings, known as Quad Conferences, are hosted by local chapters who have been selected to organize the event by their Quad. Themes vary based on the city, local culture, and topics of choice.
Quad Conferences are a terrific way to meet other students in your region, learn about architecture outside of the classroom, and have a lot of fun!
If your Chapter is interested in bidding, read through the Bid Packet linked below! The responsibilities for Quad Conferences have been reconsidered and shifted to alleviate pressure on the student planning teams, and the bidding timeline has been condensed, so please pay attention to the responsibilities page and the timeline.
We hosted an informational call where we discussed programming requirements, things to keep in mind, and other important bidding information on Friday, June 23. If you missed the call, you can watch the recording below.
Note: South and West Quads will be bidding for conferences that occur in Spring 2024, while Midwest and Northeast Quads will be bidding for conferences that occur in Fall 2024. There are recommended dates suggested by the AIAS National Office in the bid packet. If you have questions, please reach out to Jody Allen, Director of Programs and Education at firstname.lastname@example.org.
