A large part of what makes AIAS conferences, as well as our programming throughout the year, possible is our national partnerships. We have many different types of partners–international and local firms, nonprofit associations (including those members of the Architectural Alliance), companies that provide products and services to architects and the industry, and more!
We collaborate with our partners on webinars, content, and competitions throughout the year, and at Grassroots, you will be able to chat with representatives from many of our partner organizations. Think about it: you never know what a connection at Grassroots could bring you in the future! Many of the tours, workshops, and networking events offered during the conference (including the Career Expo) have a partner involved.
Career Expo
On Friday, July 21, from 4:15-7:30 p.m., we will hold a Career Expo at the Embassy Suites Hotel. We know not everyone will want to work or find an internship in Washington, DC after college, so we are inviting firms with offices all over the country (and in some cases, the world!). We want to ensure that a connection made during the Career Expo can benefit you no matter where you plan to live.
Who Will You Meet?
On Friday and Saturday, Grassroots will feature tours and workshops with many of our partners. Some of the firms you will get to meet include Gensler, Quinn Evans, NBBJ, and many more! We will also have Advocacy Training with AIA, a portfolio review, and sessions on various topics.
