Happy fifth week of Membership Month, everyone! We’re in the final stretch! This week we’re looking at how to build community! We’ve spent the last few weeks on resources and giving you tools but this week is all about showcasing your school’s community-building efforts and chapter events! We also have information on National and Regional Events below!!!

They will be sharing on the @aiasorg Instagram story about their back-to-school and membership events! Make sure to stay tuned! Your school can also participate by posting about community building and events and tagging your regional account, (@aiasnortheast, @aiasmidwest, @aiaswest, @aiassouth, @aiaslatinamerica, @aiasmiddleeast), to be shown on your Quad or Region Stories!
EVENTS
When it comes to events, you can also check out any upcoming events we have on the Events tab of the website HERE. From Conferences to Town Halls- we have it all!
You can also upload your own chapter events to this page with the “Submit Your Chapter Event” form HERE. This is especially great for any virtual content, but also great to interact with other chapter’s in your region!
Remember, Freedom By Design can also have events, so make sure your chapter shares those as well!
TAKE OUR SURVEY
On Monday 9/27 a survey was sent out to all members and last year’s members to ask about AIAS National Events for 2022. We need to know whether in-person/hybrid options are feasible- both financially and comfort-wise! While we all want to see each other again, we have to take into account the cost of hosting a conference and seriously take interest into account!
PLEASE fill out the survey by this Friday, October 1st and be entered to win a $50 Amazon Gift Card!
FORUM 2021
FORUM | CONVERGE registration is now open!! We are thrilled to announce that this year’s conference will be hosted virtually from Denver, CO from January 6th – January 8th, 2022. This will feature three tracks: Community Health, Sustainability, and Dissent & Activism. We are so excited for this conference and have been working hard to bring it to you.
