September Chapter Leader of the Month: Colt BrockGeorgia Institute of Technology
Colt’s AIAS journey began when he was just 16 years old as a junior in high school! He started his own chapter there and after two years of working with them began attending Georgia Tech where he immediately got plugged in. Working closely with officers throughout his first year, he would go on to become Vice President and is now serving as President for the 2020-2021 academic year! Throughout the past two years, he has had the opportunity to work closely with administration, other student organizations, and their local AIA component to rekindle and grow strong relationships within their city!
Beyond this, he has had the fantastic opportunity to work alongside the other brilliant AIAS leaders in the state of Georgia to start the AIAS Georgia initiative where their chapters can come together and support each other all year round. Finally, he has had the honor and privilege to serve alongside other AIAS members from across the nation as a part of the 2019-2020 FBDAC, and chairing the 2020-2021 LTCAG! Colt is looking forward to the opportunities and impact he can have in the future through the AIAS!
The color I have chosen that represents my personality is Kokopelli Teal. The blue for what I see as an easy, outgoing nature but a warmer tone in the green to represent my passions and desire to make change!
