Washington, DC – October 1, 2019
The American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS) is proud to announce a new piece to the partnership with Tnemec Company, Inc. Tnemec specializes in protecting surfaces and structures from corrosion with high-performance coatings.
During AIAS’ fall membership month, the AIAS and Tnemec will kick off a month-long feature aimed at educating AIAS members on the benefits of using architectural coatings. The feature will highlight when coatings should be used and best practices.
“Tnemec takes pride in contributing to the next generation of industry leaders. Architects young and old around the world can count on our team to be their trusted advisors for coatings that provide lasting durability and beauty,” said Chase Bean, President of Tnemec.
“AIAS is passionate about creating both formal and informal opportunities for our members to learn about the latest product offerings and partners in the architecture and design space. We are thrilled to deepen our partnership with Tnemec and believe this educational event will broaden our members base of design knowledge,” said Karma Israelsen, Executive Director of the AIAS.
AIAS members can read the feature next week on www.aias.org, along with weekly highlights on AIAS social media channels to view projects in which coatings were used.
