In the first webinar of our J.E.D.I. series, the AIAS explores the history that has resulted in the prioritization of a white agenda throughout architectural education across universities in the United States. This webinar hopes to explore the homogenous makeup of architectural education through a panel discussion between students and other architecture professionals. Through this exploration we aim to create an anti-racist environment in schools and workplaces. These conversations aid in helping us become more inclusive and equitable architects, designers, planners, and future built environment professionals. This webinar is also intended to create better understanding and communication about race within our design community of students, alumni, and working professionals.
