Boston, June 8, 2021 – Graphisoft®, the global leader in Building Information Modeling (BIM) software solutions for architecture, has announced an enhanced partnership between its North America office and the American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS). Graphisoft has signed on to sponsor the InStudio Render/Sketch competition, which serves to empower the next generation of designers. By displaying their original designs, the InStudio Render/Sketch competition gives students the platform to inspire their peers and further develop their skills.
To enter, AIAS members share their original sketches and renderings of designs and concepts on Instagram. On a weekly basis, beginning June 15, AIAS National Officers will select the top five submissions and feature them in the AIAS Studio Instagram Highlight. Members with a public Instagram profile who share their sketches and renderings, tagging @AIASorg and @Graphisoft will be eligible to win cash prizes. The first-place winner will receive $300, with second and third place winners taking home $200 and $100, respectively.
The four-month long entry period allows competitors ample time to create stunning designs in their software of choice. Entries created in Archicad and tagged #ArchicadInStudio21 will receive additional amplification from Graphisoft on the company’s Instagram, @Graphisoft.

Students need only to have an active AIAS membership to participate as the competition is open to all years and skill levels. Entries must also include a brief narrative about the submission.
