Freedom by Design Materials Grants Provided by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB)
Thanks to a recent partnership between AIAS and NCARB, materials grants are now available for Freedom by Design projects. These grants are provided by NCARB as a show of support and encouragement to students who are giving back to their community through the practical skills they acquire during their architecture coursework. Furthermore, Freedom by Design represents a unique opportunity for architecture students to obtain real-life, hands on experience, early in their careers – all of which may earn Architectural Experience Program (AXP) hours toward licensure as an architect. Grants may be applied for through the Project Proposal application (via SlideRoom) due on January 15th, 2017.
