HONOR AWARDS
Get the recognition that you and your chapter deserve by applying for the AIAS Honor Awards. Recognize the outstanding achievements by your fellow students, educators, and practitioners who have exhibited an exemplary commitment to the enhancement of the educational experience and the development of architecture students. Check them out, nominate someone (or yourself) today! Deadline: June 1, 2018
GRASSROOTS
Okay. So you technically don’t have to be a member to attend Grassroots, but it’s cheaper if you are! Plus, it’s a great opportunity to dive deeper into your involvement with AIAS. You don’t have to be a part of your chapter’s executive board to attend either. While we do have tracks that cover Leadership and Service, there will also be a Design track that includes sessions that will prep you for your career. Register by June 1, 2018 to snag Early Bird pricing!

IN STUDIO PHOTO
The AIAS is looking for members to share their photography and to provide inspiration for those looking to enhance their skill sets. This competition is open to all years and skill sets – show us what you’ve got! Deadline: July 31, 2018
IN STUDIO MADE
In Studio: Made is one of two AIAS summer competitions. Focusing on fabrication, sculpture, and craft, this competition encourages AIAS members to submit their creative projects from the summer. Whether the work is personal, professional, built, or conceptual, anything goes in this summertime creativity extravaganza in partnership with the American Galvanizer’s Association (AGA)! Cash prizes are available for the top 3 submissions. The competition opens on June 1st. More details to come!
ELEVATE YOUR PITCH
Have a great idea that’s innovative in its concept? Submit it to our Elevate Your Pitch competition sponsored by Schindler Elevator Corporation. Upload a video that’s 1-2 minutes in length and register for the competition. To enter all team members must be students, but only one member needs to be an AIAS member to enter! Deadline: June 1, 2018.
