What are AIAS National Elections? When do they happen? Who gets to vote?

You have questions, and we have answers! The AIAS is an organization by students and for students, and as such, our members elect our Quad Directors and Officers who sit on our Board of Directors every year during FORUM. Join us for a town hall to answer your questions and hear the latest on how elections are going to be managed virtually this year! We especially encourage chapter presidents to attend this town hall. We’ll cover topics such as chapters in good standing, apportioning votes based on chapter size, the elections timeline, and how and when to meet the candidates. As a sneak peek into the content we’ll cover did you know that candidates are not allowed to campaign until FORUM starts? That means that the best way to learn about the candidates before FORUM is on the AIAS website where their candidate packets are all posted!

This is the third in a series of AIAS Elections events that are taking place between now and the FORUM Conference. The first two were geared towards helping the candidates prepare to run! You’ll have many chances to meet our candidates for the AIAS Board of Directors, so stay tuned!

If this is your first time participating in our national elections, then this is a call you don’t want to miss! Mark your calendar and click the link below to attend and get the latest on all things AIAS elections.
