Following a successful launch of the #AskAnArchitect video series in 2016, the American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS) is proud to partner with the American Institute of Architects (AIA) on future episodes in 2017.

Weekly #AskAnArchitect videos explore the professional and personal lives of architects through interviews with AIAS Executive Director, Nick Serfass, AIA, CAE. Quarterly episodes in 2017 will feature an AIA video clip encouraging viewers to take advantage of the resources the Institute offers students and motivating them to continue pursuing their passion for architecture.

The AIA’s mission is to “drive positive change through the power of design.” The Institute is committed to helping students on the path to architecture careers and believes #AskAnArchitect can help students understand the value of architects in society and the many career options available within the ever-changing profession of architecture.

“The strength of the architecture profession lies in the diversity of our graduates who perform an amazing variety of jobs in service to society,” said Robert Ivy, FAIA, Executive Vice President and CEO of the American Institute of Architects. “By highlighting a range of opportunities available to architects we will continue to broaden our profession and utilize the skills and interests that students acquire in school.”
