CALL FOR APPLICANTS FOR THE 2020-2021 AIAS INTERNATIONAL REGIONAL AMBASSADORS

The 2019-2020 Council of Global Representatives is officially opening the call for applicants for the 2020-2021 AIAS International Regional Ambassador Appointment Cycle, to serve as the AIAS Middle East and Latin America Regional Ambassadors. Win or lose, participating in this appointment cycle is an incredibly rewarding and fulfilling opportunity and will provide you with valuable experience! Throughout the appointment proceedings, you will be given opportunities to demonstrate your vision for the organization. The Board of Directors will, in turn, appoint its International Regional Ambassadors based on their views for our collective future.

In order to ensure the success of the 2020 appointment cycle, the Council of Global Representatives puts forward the following AIAS Ambassador Appointment Guidelines. International Regional Ambassadors serve as advisors to the AIAS Board of Directors. In order to be considered a certified candidate, the interested person must meet all eligibility requirements in the Bylaws and Rules of the Board as well as submit the following materials:

● Letter of intent to run addressed to the Council of Global Representatives
● Resume or Curriculum Vitae (limit two pages)
● Responses to Applicant Questionnaire (see below)
● Signed statement on the AIAS Policy on Intern Compensation (see below)
● Completed Contact Information Sheet (see below)

2020 AIAS Ambassadors Appointment Guidelines

All items must be submitted via email no later than 11:59pm HST (Hawaii Standard Time) on Monday, June 8th, 2020 < NEW EXTENDED DEADLINE

All documents should be in PDF form, combined into one single document not exceeding 3MB, labeled as “LastName_Ambassador 2020.pdf” and submitted by email to the Council of Global Representatives Liaison, Erin Conti, at midwest@aias.org. After approval of candidacy materials by the Council of Global Representatives, applicants shall be considered duly certified and shall be so notified by the Council of Global Representatives Liaison.

The AIAS is an extremely successful organization because of the dedication and passion of its grassroots student leadership.
