Cancellation Policy
The Cancellation Policy for AIAS events is as follows:
- Full refund – notification 14 days prior to the event start
- 50% refund – notification 7 days prior to the event start
- No refunds will be offered starting at 12:01a on the day of the event start
All requests must be submitted through our Cancellation Request Form by the deadline noted above. All refunds will be processed after the event concludes.
Code of Conduct
- Behavior in violation of the AIAS Code of Ethics
- Harassment, intimidation, or discrimination in any form related to gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, religion, disability, physical appearance, age, experience, or other characteristic.
- Use of hateful, obscene, defamatory, discriminatory, or violent language.
- Inappropriate use of sexual language, nudity, and/or images.
- Unwelcome or uninvited attention or contact with another participant.
- Expressed or implied threat of physical or professional harm.
- Harassing photography or recording.
- Sustained disruption of presentations, sessions, or other events.
- Unauthorized copies or screen shots of presentations or Q&A.
Waiver & Release of Liability
By registering to attend this conference, all participants acknowledge the following and choose to accept all risks waiving any right to sue AIAS or its officers, directors, contractors, representatives, agents, employees, speakers, or sponsors, in connection with any of the following: a) Exposure, infection, and/or spread of COVID-19 related to meeting participation. I understand that by attending this event, I may be exposing myself to or increasing my risk of contracting or spreading COVID-19, despite AIAS’ safety precautions. I also understand that such exposure or infection may result in quarantine requirements. b) I understand that the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by COVID-19 may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of others who may attend this event. Accordingly, I understand and agree that this release includes any claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of the AIAS or its representatives, whether infection occurs before, during, or after participation in this event. c) I understand that this waiver means I give up my right to bring any claims including for personal injuries, death, disease or property losses, business revenue loss, or any other loss, based upon claims of negligence.
Photo & Video Release
I hereby grant, transfer and convey to AIAS all of my right, title, and interest in and to all photographic images, video or audio recordings, video or audio reproductions, films or motion pictures, radio or television broadcasts, and any other reproductions or depictions (all collectively referred to as the “reproductions”) of my event-related activities, or any part thereof, including, without limitation, pictures and sound of me alone or with other persons through any and all media, whether now known or hereafter discovered. Such right, title and interest includes, without limitation, the right to any royalties, proceeds or other benefits derived from the reproductions of my activities. I hereby understand and acknowledge that AIAS shall have and own, in connection with my activities, the sole and exclusive right to commercially exploit my activities, and I shall not reproduce, sell, or otherwise use or exploit any of the reproductions of my activities, or assist another party in doing any of the foregoing, without AIAS’ prior written consent.
