Embarking on this transformative journey as President of (AIAS) at An-Najah National University branch in Palestine for the 2023-2024 term has been an incredibly enriching experience and impactful leadership roles.

Before stepping into my current position as President of (AIAS) at An-Najah National University branch in Palestine for the 2023-2024 term, I’ve traversed through various avenues of growth. These journeys took me across borders to engage in leadership workshops, design thinking seminars, and project management courses, all of which shaped my vision and approach towards architectural leadership.

My journey with AIAS began with my involvement in international exchanges and participation in diverse courses, where I delved into design thinking, leadership, and the intricacies of artificial intelligence. These experiences laid the foundation for my subsequent roles within the organization, where I served as a mentor in entrepreneurial competitions and collaborated with an exceptional team to achieve remarkable results.

Reflecting on our achievements, I am immensely proud of the seamless communication platforms we’ve established and the significant increase in our membership, surpassing a hundred dedicated members. Our commitment to providing academic and recreational benefits to students, has been unwavering, fostering a sense of community and empowerment among our members. I’m deeply thankful for the opportunity to lead our chapter and engage with new chapters across Palestine, fostering collaboration and exchange of ideas that amplify our collective impact.

One of our proudest achievements has been the creation of a membership card offering discounts from numerous stores across the country, providing tangible benefits to our members. Additionally, we’ve organized a webinar to educate people about the architectural perspectives in our country and its crisis , shedding light on its rich heritage and current challenges . Moreover, we’ve conducted sessions focusing on communication skills, architecture program learning, and other relevant topics to empower our members with essential skills and knowledge.

As part of our commitment to community service, we’ve organized Ramadan charity events, embodying the spirit of giving and solidarity during this holy month. These initiatives exemplify our dedication to creating a vibrant and inclusive space within our chapter, where members can grow both personally and professionally while making meaningful contributions to society.

Looking forward, I am fueled by the desire to continue nurturing our chapter’s growth, fostering strong bonds among members, and empowering the architectural community through impactful events and activities. Together, with our talented board members, we aspire to create a vibrant and inclusive space where every member feels at home and inspired to pursue excellence in architecture.
